3/1: World Music Family Workshop |The Phoenix Conservatory of Music invites kids to learn about music with Sankofa-Island Magic founder and artist, Keith Johnson. The Junior Citizen Science Festival features more than 15 hands-on, interactive learning stations that immerse kids and adults into the wonders of the natural world.
Kids will learn how to discover artifacts at an excavation site and how to use the artifacts to learn more about the cultures they came from in this morning long activity.
3/3: Archaeology for kids | Kids have the chance to become junior archaeologists for the day at the Pueblo Grande Museum.
This free screening is being hosted by the City of Mesa Transportation Department’s Bike & Pedestrian Program and SRP.
